Buyer Guides and Info
This site is designed for use with Engram Wallet. Do not buy using an exchange unless you know the consequences. Exchanges most likely do not implement the required features in their wallets and you won't be able to receive your product or submit your address etc. You'll want to download and install the latest edition of Engram or if you insist on using the cli-wallet you can probably make that work. After installing your wallet, make sure the transction history is reflecting recent transactions.
To buy items listed, read all of product information and be sure you are familiar with how to use the transactions history for receiving digital downloads and order ids for physical goods. If you are buying tokens then you'll want to check that the smart contract ids are showing a token in your asset manager in Engram Wallet. It is also advised to determine if the SCID is for the official token. We're working on finding a way to ensure that they are authentic tokens. Most authentic tokens should allow you to buy them using the smart contract functions in the wallet instead of using the integrated address pointed to a pong server (seller node) but it may be advantageous to do so in some circumstances. Some tokens may not be for monetary purposes and used only to prove purchase or have some other utility. It is always advised to keep track of trusted sellers using their dero usernames who will also have member profiles here.
On DeroList.com you can add multiple items to a transaction list in the Engram Wallet by saving a transaction and returning to the main page and starting another send. Save and repeat until you have all of the items in your transaction list. This is especially advisable for physical goods orders.
Digital Goods
To order digital goods, click to copy the integrated address and paste it into the send to field in the Engram wallet. Check that all of the fields are populated with what you are ordering. The comment, seller, port and price should appear automatically in the wallet when entered. You may add as many items into a transaction list as you want and will recieve a response with the digital link or access number etc which should arrive shortly after in your transaction history.
If the seller is offline then you'll have to wait for them to start their seller app again. So it is best to make sure that they are regularly checking in or if they have checked in less than 5 minutes ago then there is a good chance that they are still online. Most sellers should either check in at least once a day or throughout the day or run their nodes 24/7. Any sellers offline for more than 24 hrs are delisted from the main products list.
Physical Goods
During order shipping address submission messages
The preferred way to order physical items is to create a shipping address submission message using the address form on those pages. To create your shipping submission message, copy the username or wallet address of the seller and enter it into the receiver address field in the wallet.
Next you will want to make sure you have read the shipping policy in the product details and if they have shipping cost use that as the amount to send with the shipping addresss submission message.
Finally you will want to complete the address form, copy the message string generated and enter the string as the "Message" for a new send transaction.
Important to note that if you are buying from multiple sellers in one order then each seller will need a shipping address submission message sent to them in the transaction list. It may make sense to fill up your wallet transaction list with the items and then create the shipping message with the amounts required for shipping to your location if needed.
After order shipping address submission messages
It may be easier to submit your address by ordering from a seller that has checked in within the last 5 minutes and will respond with an order id while their seller app is running. If this is the case and it is easier for you to recieve multiple order numbers from multiple sellers, then you can wait for each seller to respond with an order id for your orders and then you can generate an after order shipping address submission message for each seller separately. Each order id will generate shipping submission message for that seller specifically, make sure to send the right message to the right seller.
Tokens
If you are ordering tokens then it is advised to enter the scid (smart contract id) in the the assets manager/explorer in Engram to check that is has the correct values and is a sendable token. If the seller hasn't checked in within the last 5 minutes, then you may want to wait until you know they are online so you don't have to wait to recieve your tokens when ever they start processing transactions again. There may be other places to buy the same token it is advised to check there and check that it is the same scid etc.
Some tokens listed here may be for proving purchase or other utilities. It is a good idea to make sure to check the seller's username and profile which will match their dero username to ensure it is coming from who think it is.
Tokens sales do not respond with a message, the balance for the SCID should increase after a block or 2 has passed.
